DC
Community Action Network (June 2005)
This site brings together simple and clean graphics with
likewise programming to allow visitors to see real-time
contact information of hundreds of DC Metro progressive
organizations. The site allows the DCCAN administration
team to enter meetings notes for each organization and to
successfully track outreach assignments so to bring more
of these organizations to their meetings. This site is driven
by HTML using Dreamweaver, Photoshop graphics, PHP programming,
and MySQL databases.
ActivistEvents.com
(April 2005)
This simple site is a gateway to activist calendars in
the DC Metro region. Graphics by Melissa Brockley and layout
by Chris Otten, this site gets many unique visitors on a
given day.
THCDC.org
(January 2005)
Our second time working with a homeless services agency,
ceo4u.com prepared the layout and HTML design of the site.
In addition, this site employs several content management
modules which will allow the staff at Transitional Housing
Corporation to update the site at will with no webdesign
experience. The modules are programmed using PHP and our
original content management system which can be customized
to your needs. *Check out the photo gallery module - original
by ceo4u.
DC
Statehood Green Party (December 2004)
ceo4u helped to redesign the website for a political party
most closely aligned with our mission, the DC Statehood
Green Party. Members of the party can upload press releases,
working committees, links, events, publications, and more
using an easy to use customized content management system.
The site stays fresh with continual posts by a variety of
the more active members.
AngeliqueShofar.com
(August 2004)
ceo4u.com is proud to unveil a website highlighting the
skills, spirit, and activism of an amazing African woman,
Angelique Shofar. This site boasts crisp graphics, rollover
images, and is driven by PHP
programming and a MySQL
database. Angelique uses a custom administration form
to add new announcements and announcement categories which
then are displayed on the front page and her announcements
page. She doesn't have to know a lick of HTML or website
design to keep her site current!
DC
Anti-War Network (Original Contribution May
2003; Redesign March 2005)
ceo4u.com redesigned the DAWN website to allow the diverse
array of peace participants to upload event announcements,
event reportbacks, meeting notes, publications, and links
in real-time using a customized and simple content management
system (CMS). The CMS is driven by PHP and MySQL and is
so easy to use that we guarantee anybody, from ten-year
olds to grandparents, can use it to update the site; no
HTML experience necessary!
Free
The Peace (May 2004)
This website is a simple HTML electronic flyer. Nice Photoshop
graphics highlight what were nice concerts in the park.
Javscript rollover used as well.
RecallMayorWilliams.com
(January 2004)
This is ceo4u's contribution to the
Recall Tony campaign. The website contains an articles archive
whereby users can easily upload articles pertaining to the
Mayor in real time & users don't have to know HTML to do
so!
Remarx.Info (December 2003)
An excellent retooling of our articles archive module to
the benefit of a longtime DC-Global activist. This website
allows users to view and sort and print articles stored
by the archive owner. The archive owner needs to know no
HTML or any webdesign. YOU just need to know how to enter
article text and other data into a standard web form. ceo4u.com
uses PHP
and MySQL
to work the magic of presenting the owners archived articles
in real time!
Charlie's Place (old site)
Charlie's Place, a homeless service
center, uses our volunteer web application which includes
a form
for volunteers to sign up. The form is written by PHP and
is loaded with task data from their database which is manageable
in real time, and sends a notification email to the volunteer
coordinators. The management tool also facilitates the assigning
of tasks to volunteers.
Pan-American
Computer Recycling (formerly http://www.panampc.org)
This startup agency is looking to help spread computing
to South America and to the poor. This is a static website
and is serves as an electronic brochure. We have rockbottom
prices for our static websites.
WashTheFlag.org
(formerly http://www.washtheflag.org)
ceo4u.com took on this project to help get out the word
regarding an annual peace coalition event on Flag Day. The
site is written in HTML and sports a picture gallery.
RemeberValdez.org
(August 2002)
This site has been setup by Chris Otten to serve as a beacon
of awareness and to demand that humans must rid ourselves
of the reliance on OIL in order to stay alive in the foreseeable
future. This is another example of an electronic brochure.
